Island Hopping in Krabi

One of the most popular excursion from the mainland Krabi is the so-called "four-island tour." Three of the four islands visited on this path group is directly in front of Ao Nang Beach, Koh Poda, with its beautiful white sand beach, Koh Gai (also known as Chicken Island) and Ko Tub, are connected by a stunning sand visible at low tide and Koh Yawasam, a steep cliff, with the Great Barrier Reef for snorkeling. The fourth station is notreally an 'island, but is accessible only by boat: Phra Nang Bay, on the peninsula of Railay. This beach is considered one of the most beautiful of all the Thai mainland.

The original 4-island trip was initiated in Ao Nang about 15 years ago, only one boat with a long tail. The price is 350 baht per person and includes lunch, water and snorkeling gear for a trip of 7 hours. E 'can book up to 100 people on this day trip alone, so expect that there is full.

Many tourThe companies now offer this program, especially in longtail boat, but also with a cruise ship that offers more space to relax on board. Some companies also offer island tours of 4 in speed boat, which support you get to the islands off the longtail boats and allow time, any place. These trips are a bit 'more expensive, so it's up to you if it's worth it!

But of course you have to go on a tour organized for everyone. You can do exactly the sametravel in their longtail boats used during the same tour (pack your lunch and bring your own snorkel) in the Charter your boat from Ao Nang Beach. There is a fixed price of 1700 baht per boat for half a day - enough for the main islands - or 2200 baht for a nice day to include Railay. Coupons can be purchased at the ticket office at the corner of beach road. This can be a cheaper option, when there are a few of you to share the costs. They feel it's worthhowever, as it is, you can create your own path instead of following the tour - great if you want to snorkel from the beach, or vice versa.
